Who is Simon?

Simon is the founder and lead educator behind Simon Solves. Simon was the top student (dux) at his Queensland high school, and was top of his class in Physics and Biology. Simon was second place or tied for first in his class in Chemistry, Maths B (Mathematical Methods) and Maths C (Specialist Maths). Simon holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and works as a project manager at one of Australia's largest logistics companies.

What subjects are covered?

We focus on senior Australian high school STEM subjects. The core delivery focus will be:
- Mathematical Methods
- Specialist Maths
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology

(The subjects will be rolled out in roughly this order.)

How are tutorials structured?

Tutorials cut textbook fluff, focusing on core concepts and step-by-step exam problem solving, using fun, interactive videos.

Is the platform safe?

Yes, Simon holds a valid Blue Card for working with children. All personal data is secure, and one-on-one tuition is delivered in an open-door format with strict safety policies within eSafety Commissioner guidelines.

When will tutoring start?

Tutoring is available year-round during the school year. The platform will launch for Term 3 (Semester 2) of 2026, starting with Calculus video content aimed at Mathematical Methods students.

What support options are available?

Support includes tutorial and worked example videos, live streams, subject vaults, exam prep and formula sheets, and one-on-one tuition sessions.
